The Bible

The Old Testament

The New Testament

I have put these into playlists so that while I do the dishes, prepared the cooking, and so on, even driving, I can listen to all the chapter of the Bible, such as The Book of James. There is nothing so satisfying as hearing the Word of God sounding through the house as you go about your day. I do struggle with some of those Old Testament names though.

When I choose the Chapters of the Bible to read I decide what to choose by what Chapter my eyes fall on when I open the Bible up to any random/Divinely guided page. This is how I know which Chapter from the Bible to read.

I am not an expert speaker/orator and I have some issues with stumbling over my words and a form of stuttering. I have found that this project of recording the Bible gives me another chance of reading the Bible. But I will not include the endless genealogies, the he begat and so on, just the main stories.
What I do here is read each chapter at least twice, and then I record it. Now there will be my pronunciation being wrong and some mistakes here and there, and next year I will come back and record those chapters all over again, thus I will read the Bible all over again 🙂
