HelloFresh Groceries

Delivered to your door.

Recently a neighbour got a free box of HelloFresh groceries sent to me by the company, as it is part of their way to promote their grocery service. Kind of like try-like-then-buy, something like that.

I thought that I would add this page to the web site to show you what comes with HelloFresh so you have some idea of what to expect.

First up, if you get the free box of groceries do note that they will send out new boxes of groceries unless you immediately cancel the deliveries.

Each box of groceries comes with recipe cards with instructions of how to use the contents in the box.

The food comes in “Meal Kits”. These are brown paper bags that have a dot in a certain colour that matches a recipe card. Inside are all that you need to make that meal.

When you sign up you get to choose meat, vegitarian, how many in your family and so on.

On the left here we can see the contents of one bag. Fresh potatoes, a carrot, radish, spinach and plastic bags of seasoning, sauces and so on.

My choices are a meal for two. So, this would be what I need to cook a meal for two adults and possibly something from the chilled bag (as is shown below).

At the bottom of each box is the Frozens Bag. A bag of meat or other items that have to be chilled for travel from HelloFresh to your doorstep.

Inside the chilled bag are frozen plastic bags of ice to keep the bag contents cold, as well as the food you will need with your recipes..

Signing up was easy. Just remember that if you want the service to stop you must go to the website and cancel the orders.

I hope this gives you some idea of what to expect from HelloFresh, and what you are expected to do with the box contents and how to prepare the meals for your family.
