I like revelations. It is nice to discover something. But sometimes revelations can seem devastating.
Such as finding out that I was wrong about something that I believed for years.
It really can be very shocking, shameful and feel like an obstacle that we cannot get over.
*
The thing to remember is that we got over big obstacles in the past and we can do it all over again. And this obstacle, even though it is tough, it can be overcome.
*
• But how do you want to come out of this?
• Do you want to make it look like you were right all the time?
• Do you want to admit that you got it wrong, maybe apologize if this occasion needs it, make amends?
• Or do you want to ignore it and hope that you never have to deal with it face to face and just get on with your life?
*
Pride is nothing. If you have to do something but pride and shame stop you being decent, good and responsible, then you will dislike yourself forever for this.

It is always wise to do what we need to do for the greater good of all.
