Instead of us seeking the approval of other people that we know, the wise thing to do is to seek the approval of our own heart.
To do that we would look at the things that we do and then ask ourself, “Do I feel good about what I just did?” and don’t base any of your answer on what other people say about what you did, or from those who talked you into doing it.
To be happy we should be doing things that make our own heart feel that what we did was worth it, and did it make us feel happy and pleased with ourself because we did it? And do we still respect ourself after we did it?
Please remember always that people that love us will not force us to do anything that makes us feel uncomfortable, or anything that we don’t believe in, or anything that goes against our moral standards or our beliefs of decency and love. Stay strong, and let people know where your heart stands.
Remember, love is patient, kind, and encouraging in what your heart wants to do, and not what others demand of you. Your courage will fill your heart and life with love.
