Don’t you wonder why Jesus said, “Sin no more?”

Don’t you wonder why many churches today say that we cannot live without sin?

It is because the religious, the leaders, and the general public are spirituality weak minded. They are buried in sins and they can’t see a way out. So they assume that living without sin is impossible.
(The blind leading the innocent blind into a ditch).
°
People can live without sin, they just cannot live without making mistakes etc. Mistakes and accidents are not sin.
Sin is intentionally choosing to do an evil thing, like revenge instead of forgiveness, and choosing to seek selfish pleasures etc.
°
Jesus taught the people at that time because the church leaders had become weak and did not know how to live without sin anymore. In fact, the church leaders were teaching the public that many sins were accepted by God (Woe to those who call evil good). Jesus had to put the people back on the straight and narrow path of good living and decency.

The church believers, then like now, like the atheist leaders, had/have no idea what sin was/is or that life could be lived without sin.

The church leaders, brought up in a sinful society, had no idea how to live without sin. So when they became church leaders they preached only what they knew, and the called it God’s ways and God’s preaching. So you see because the church leaders could not control their lusts, they assumed that as people of God, that if they cannot control themselves then no one else can either, and that is what they teach. The blind leading the innocent blind.

They also neglected to mention to the public that we pay for our sins. So instead of warning the public that sins will be punished, they tell people that sins cannot be controlled and that God understands.

Today from a young age we are heavily subjected to sex, so as teenager’s a large hunk of the public are very tuned in to wanting sex, addicted to sex, keenly wanting to try sex, and yet I remember when I was younger teenagers who had no interest in sex, had never masterbated etc. In the 1950s there were married couples who had never seen the other fully nude. Society has weakened to sinful living, and the rich are making money off the publics weakness for sins.
Lust, over a period of time makes the ugly look acceptable and people assume that because it feels interesting, has pleasure, then it must be good.

Modern society is to blame for sexual addiction. Sex itself is a wonderful gift from God that only two can share.
*
One day I thought to myself, “What sin cannot be cured?” And I couldn’t find one.
Gluttony can be cured. All addictions can be cured. Lust can be cured. Hate can be cured. Every sin can be cured.
*
So you see. We may not be perfect, we may make mistakes, but we can live without sin if we really have God’s ways as the guide to loving and living. It is up to each individual to learn to put away the old-self and all things become new in their soul. They must repent and willingly deny the past, deny the people from the past, and with courage become the new person as taught by Christ.

All the best from James Martin Sandbrook.
