He was dedicating the last of his years “by giving and not taking”.
His disease was not too obvious. He was fit to a fair degree, but sometimes when going all out his breathing became laboured, but he never told anyone. He didn’t mind dying, he just wanted to give his all before he did die.
His cough on occasion was bronchial, deep, disturbing and hard to stop. Again he didn’t tell anyone of it. Why should he. As time it would obviously get worse, but he had some time.
°
He passed on as many messages from God that he could. He laboured for hours spreading hope, love, compassion and charity, especially over the Internet. His work was the work of waking people up to different possibilities, and of teaching them that they had been taken advantage of by the authorities, and to show them that there is hope and a better way to live.
°
The authorities hated him, and they wanted to hurt him because he was hurting them publicly because the authorities were taking advantage of the public, but due to his physical illness he knew that he had nothing to lose. So he wasn’t bothered about exposing them at all.
°
This man felt deeply blessed because he had been given a chance to get things right and repair the damage that he had caused in the past. To him dying this way was obviously a great honour.
There were some people that he tried to reach, to help, but due to their vanity, insecurities, hate, fears, and the influence of others they wouldn’t allow him to help them, so he continued to reach out to others as best as he could.
It was clear that God had given him a ministry, yet the church system through fear and jealousy refused to recognize him. But thousands and thousands of people did. The masses that listen to him ignored the church rules, doctrines, human laws, etc, and they listened with hope to his messages of comfort and hope.
°
Only some people are blessed with the knowledge that they will die within a period of time. But we should all live day by day as if we were all going to die tomorrow.
We would have so much more courage if we knew that tomorrow was our last day on earth. We would take risks, we would take what we used to fear, and we wouldn’t fear people threatening us etc. Guess what, tomorrow some of us will die, and we did nothing because we feared trying, thankfully that isn’t me, is it you?
°
It is worth thinking about.
