Like a baby when the child wants to walk, we need to desire change, and to desire adventure, and to take the risks even though we may get hurt.
°
Can you imagine the excitement when the baby sees people walking and thinks, “I can do this!” and then makes attempts to walk.
If you have ever experienced the joy of seeing a baby walk for the first time the baby is very very excited, and very willing to walk or fall trying. The baby is old enough at this time to realise that he or she can get hurt hard, because he or she has had many falls by that time in their life. But the physical pain, and emotional letdowns, do not stop the determined mind of the child that knows that he or she can make this happen.
He or she wants to have a go regardless of the risks, because the excitement of succeeding is far more attractive than the falls and the odd failures. The baby takes each failure and fall as a lesson, and then improves upon it.
The babies life mostly up to that time is normally full of wonder, excitement and encouragement, so the child wants to try and have a go. There is no reason in that child’s mind that he or she cannot succeed. All there is in the child’s mind is a will to succeed, and a courageous heart that wants to experience the joy of being on their own two feet.
The adult needs to find that excitement once again, we once had it. We need to look at life in wonder and excitement. There are many things that we have not tried or experienced up to this point, and we should have a go.
°
Most of all, we should have a willing mind, and a courageous heart filled with desire to take the risks, and make things happens for our own life.
