How can I be my own best?

Society teaches the young “to fit in”, to copy others, to do what everyone else does.

To be your best is to be the best that you can be on your own and fitting in and the like is a way of dimming your light so to speak.
Think of your physical health and do the best to meet the needs of your body, get exercise, get good healthy food, get rest when you need it.
Spiritually and mentally you need to meet your needs (the things that you need in life to enjoy life but also be facing challenges), and the more challenges you take on the better you get in life by learning with trial (what works) and error (what does not work).
Facing your fears is important, because you are telling yourself that yes some things you find a fear but you are not going to let those things stop you getting ahead or becoming a better person.
Taking risks is important. Risks are what the most successful and confident people in the world do because it means to them that no barrier will stop them if they think that taking the risk is important for their inner-soul, life and courage, they do it because they know that this risk is what they need to do.
To be your self we need to spend less time being entertained (TV, movies, parties and so on) and doing what will move us forward, like experience things, study a subject, practice a lot, be with people of the same mind, you will get to be the person who you want to be if you put your mind, body and soul into it.
Forget what others think, be ourself, be true to yourself, and make your dreams come true as you think that they should.
