Our rights as human beings.

I was talking to someone today, and the thought came to my mind about our rights as human beings. We should all know that we all deserve a good life, but sometimes we do foolish things and we may think that we don’t deserve anything much.

I said to my friend that as children of God we are supposed to follow the rules of life that Jesus taught. About being meek, humble etc, and also to love one another and to follow the example for the Good Samaritan and be charitable to all, help the needy etc.As James said, we need to be doers of the word.

But I also mentioned to her that the world today follows different laws. Laws of selfishness, focusing on self-designed goals and careers to put before the family and children, to take, to profit, to gain materially etc. The modern world is selfish and has material gain in mind most of the time.

God can bless you, but when a timid person who is unconfident receives that blessing he or she may turn it down. I have always struggled at taking charity or gifts, and many times I just figured that I was not worthy, or not worth it, and that if I didn’t take it then someone else would be blessed by it.

But the reality is that the selfish world will gladly take your blessings off you if you say “No thank you!” They will be happy if you think that you are unworthy. They will be overjoyed when you pass up a good thing and they greedily scoff it up with much thanks.
*
But you see, you are worthy, let God be the judge of that. If the blessing comes your way, reach out and take it, and thank the person who handed it to you. Please be graceful, appreciative and thankful that someone has seen fit to give your something good and worthy. The blessing is yours because God said it is yours.
°
If the gift is not a good thing and does not follow the moral beliefs that Christ teaches then decline it. But if it is good, take it thankfully.
°
You are a child of God. Do you want fairness love and good things to come to your child’s way or to you when you were a child, of course. And that is how God feels about you. He wants to reward you for your dedication and love, for your charity towards others, for your repenting, and willingness to change your life by turning over a new leaf, and He wants to reward you because you are special. You could have found out about God and still chosen to follow evil ways, but you didn’t.
°
You can continue to be meek, humble, kind, charitable and shine like a light in the world while also taking the blessings that God brings your way. You are good enough. Please never doubt this.
°
Please don’t let the world of selfish people take the wonderful things that were meant for you. God gifts things to make your life easier, or happier and rewards you in appreciation for your being the wonderful character that you are.
°
Please believe in yourself, because God believes in you, and that is the greatest authority that has ever been and exists. Be wise, know your worth, stay humble, receive your blessings.
°
Taking the narrow path does reward us greatly.

All the best from
James M Sandbrook.
