Self Improvement is about changing ones ways.

Self Improvement is about changing ones ways.
And the only way that this can be done is by being tough on yourself and demanding that you respect yourself enough to want the best for yourself. Its about change for the better. Being tough means that when people come along to tempt you to places or things that you know you shouldn’t be doing you say “No!” and are firm about it.
Part of self improvement is moving forward and not falling back to the ways of the past (no matter how much we liked it in the past or are tempted – it won’t kill us to say no and it may save our life saying no) because the old ways will only bring what you have already experienced that held you back and that is why you want self improvement now.
Its not about making money, or redefining yourself, or becoming famous, or school degrees – self improvement is about bringing forth the person that you want to love and respect and feel good about every day when you wake up. The person you want your children to love and accept and respect. Its about being someone that is important and reliable in peoples lives.
Be strong and of good courage and be tough enough on yourself to find the changes you want to make and then make them. Don’t rush too much but do make a strong effort. And don’t let yourself down, God and you know you are worth more than that.
I read a few times that the most successful people are only about 5% of the population because they get tough on themselves and don’t weaken to temptations and stay on course for self improvement. Lets improve on that number and add ourselves to that with dedication to make this year a very important one in our lives.

All the best from
