Some may say that woman are not represented well in the Bible or not enough written about women, but we must realise that the role of the woman should forever be that of strength and a strong decent foundation upon which the family relies on. Her honesty, her strengths, her kindness and willingness to forge forward unselfishly knowing that her husband and children will be all the more stronger because of her efforts.
When father and children have a good wife and mother they have stability in the home. The mother is the structure of wholesome teachings, the maker of good foods, the person who ensures that all get fed, and many in the past ate last to make sure all were fed as it was her job to feed and then feed herself. That is called putting other people first, being worthy, being righteous, generous and very high in God’s eyes. Every family with a good woman should praise God for the gift of love.
I was mother and father to my own children most of the time (my wife left us). I have been there and tried my best to be the best for them as best as I could be under the circumstances that we lived in. I have held the woman’s role and the males and think that an honourable woman must be a decent man’s dream come true. Sometimes it wasn’t easy but very worthy.
