God Loves A Joyful Smiling Person…

When I think upon my God, my heart is so full of joy that the notes dance and leap from my pen; and since God Joy: and since God has given me a cheerful heart, it will be pardoned me that I serve Him with a cheerful spirit – Joseph Haydn.

Be a bringer of joy into peoples hearts with the gift that is you, the gift that God gave to the world the day that you were born!

Psalm Chapter 16, verse 11: Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Joy is happiness, fun, laughter, and uplifting of the soul and spiritually surrounding yourself with happiness that God commands of His people. Be a bringer of joy and you will keep your friends, you will gain many more, because happiness is a way of God. Like good or evil you have a choice of which one to have – so it is with the glorious gift of bringing joy into peoples lives. Let it flow, let your joyful feeling out. Like a river of happiness, wherever you go share yourself in a positive manner.

Joy is the most infallible sign of the presence of God – L Bloy.

John Chapter 16, verse 24: Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Continual cheerfulness is a sign of wisdom – Thomas Fuller.

That which befits us…is cheerfulness and courage – Ralph Waldo Emerson.

When you are not joyful you suffer, and so do others around you. Love radiates from the joyful soul.

That is a nice verse to remember. Christ wanted us to have joy. His heart was pure with love. and when you share love, you spread joy and happiness.

Galatians Chapter 5, verse 22: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Smile at 10 people in a day and only God and those people really know how many other lives are touched by your free gift to them. And think of the possibilities, the many changes you can do to peoples lives with just a smile and kind words. We all claim to want to help people, So lets do it 🙂

Do you think that God smiles at those who go to Heaven? Of course smiling is a tool from God to help you get on with your day. We all love to see ourselves laugh and smile in the mirror. Remember the last time you were laughing, happy or full of happiness and you stepped past a mirror and saw the look of pure happiness on your face. Or saw a photo of you laughing. Do things God’s way and that will happen to you more often, share it with others and it will happen to you more often and to them. Happiness, joy, laughter are all tools given to you from God. They are all part of love. Like love they get you deep down inside, overrunning other feelings and making a soul glow.

Isaiah Chapter 35, verse 10: And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Could God want us to love people or have enemies? He wants you and I to have friends, and He will turn our enemies into friends, but that is not good unless we are humble to accept them as friends. If we turn away those that God brings to us, that is no good.

An experiment for you to try, I have done this and love doing this. When you next go downtown make it a challenge to smile and say a cheerful Hello to everyone you see and meet. If you are a bit of a recluse then this could be a struggle at first but believe me as you go, more and more people will smile back. And that will just make you more happy, and the next time they see you they will smile at you because you first showed the kindness of a smile to them. If someone gives you a grumpy look back or a scowl don’t be upset, you too have had days like that, let them be, and move on sharing your goodness everywhere you go.

Be a person who brings joy into people lives, its so much fun. When you are in that long line waiting for the checkout person or at the bank to finish with the many customers in front of you, instead of getting tense and impatient, think about what fun it would be to greet that person with a big happy gleeful smile. Just lay it on them, make some happy positive and possibly sympathetic comment, be nice because this person sure does need you this day, at this moment, at this time.

So get out of that bed with a smile on your face, think of what good you are and what you can do to bring sunshine into someone’s life, as God wants you to do. Imagine just how much easier you make Gods work if you are assisting with the free gift of a smile. Oh the joy that God will feel having you as His helper. A blessing is God and you are a blessing, never forget that.

An organised life helps too, going to bed at the appointed time, waking up at the right time, a good nights rest is very helpful in making sure that the next day will be a winner and you a blessing to others. People are important, and so is your smile.

As you come to understand people lives and sufferings you will realise why they are sometimes sour and unhappy, like you on some days, you owe it to yourself and to the world to so your part in bringing sunshine to the lives of others. And believe me God will be looking at you with a big smile every time you touch the heart of somebody else with your smiles. We want to make God smile, we should start with a smile ourself.

In your work place you will be known for your happiness and a joy to be around. People will tend to hear you out if you are someone that they like to be with. Happiness is not just for your home or at work, it is for everywhere.

The joy in which a man finds in his work and which transforms the tears and sweat of it into happiness and delight – that joy is God – H Williams.

Joy is the sentiment that is born in a soul, conscious of the good it possesses. The good of our intelligence is truth; the more this truth is abundant and luminous, the deeper is our inward joy D. Marmion.

Life need not be easy to be joyful. joy is not the absence of trouble but the presence of Christ – W Van der Hoven.

These little thoughts are the rustle of leaves: they have their whisper of joy in my mind – R Tagore.

Joy rises in me like a Summer’s morn – S Taylor.

Every joy, great or small, is akin and always a refreshment – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

Don’t be afraid to let us know how well your day went and how feel spreading joy and happiness to others 🙂
