When you come to the end of “yourself” you find God.

Many people pray to God, ask God for their chosen destiny and then spend the rest of their lives heading the way of society.
When you come to the end of “yourself” means, “When you come to the end of your Ego and Your Own Desires” you will finally give up chasing your own opinions, the opinions of others, and your selfishness and ego. Once you have given up on all the dreams and demands you made of God and yourself, you will finally find God and God’s True Will of your True Chosen Destiny – Not your version of it.

Most people, religious or not never find God’s true dream for their lives because they are not following God, they are following themselves and in doing so they put other things before God so that God’s true will is blocked from view.

They will put church before God, and false doctrines, false beliefs, society, other people’s opinions, ego, selfishness, the old soul and old ways and old opinions all before God and they still have much power in the Christian mind. Most people don’t find God’s true path for them, the narrow path is just something that they feel is too hard.

But for some people God refuses to allow them to follow the masses and ego, and the reason why is that they have been chosen for certain very important tasks, and only they can do them, no one else can. For years and years they may fight God’s will until finally they come to the end of themselves and see all that was false and fake within, and then they follow God without questions and with total
love and faith.
This is when they will find their true destiny with God.

God has so much time, training, effort and love invested in them God cannot let them go.

If we can understand that we have been groomed by society to behave, think, and live in a certain way, that if our true destiny is not as society tells us to live is different than what society claims, then we need to do as we need to do regardless of the pressures of people and society, otherwise we will never find the life we were truly born for.

This is why they say that true love is only for the brave, and the path to freedom is a narrow path that most refuse to try or take.
