We Should Be Heroes to Ourselves and Others

A nonconformist person is an individual who chooses not to conform to a social or cultural norm, but in the times of Materialistic thinking which has seeped in to all social thoughts and groups, all of social living become Conformity. The non-conformist is a person who follows no political affiliations, nor any groups, nor any religious thought, but instead thinks as an individual, the best that he or she can be as themselves.

In the song Heroes (we could be) the lyrics contain these words, “Every day people do everyday things, but I can’t be one of them I know you hear me now, we are a different kind, we can do anything“.

The human race has created heroes of amazing powers since the beginning of time, the great gods and so on, and today we have Superman. Spiderman, and such. Just like Jesus was created to be a god, or of superhuman abilities and feats such as bringing people back to life and such.

Note that all of them are out of reach for the average soul like you and I. Thus we cannot be those people, nor can we be a person with superpowers, at least the superpowers of the Marvel Universe or of the DC Universe and so on, nor a Greek God.

Leonard Nimoy (Spock) got it right when he said that the best he can be is himself.

I may not be

I may not be the fastest
I may not be the tallest
     Or the strongest

I may not be the best
Or the brightest

But one thing I can do better
     Than anyone else…

      That is

        To be me

Your Superpower is not to be who others are,
and not to be a Conformer who Society controls.

Society grooms and controls us, feeds our minds, and tells us who we are, who to be, how to behave and punishes us if we don’t behave, and tells us basically what is accepted and what is not accepted.

A nonconformist person is an individual who chooses not to conform to a social or cultural norm, but in the times of Materialistic thinking which has seeped in to all social thoughts and groups, all of social living become Conformity. The non-conformist is a person who follows no political affiliations, nor any groups, nor any realigius tjhought, but instead thinks as an individual, the best that he or she can be as themselves.

To feel needed, wanted, special, part of other people’s lives, we are taught that we must conform, behave like those around us, live as they do, think as they do.

And if people dislike people who come up with other ideas it is because we are taught to dislike and shame those people who think differently to our Society-Approved-Thinking, and we demand that they “fall in” and be as they are.

We learn early in life to shut up, behave, do as we are told, and by the time we are adults, we do as we are told.

Your Superpower is to be the opposite to this,
as best as you can be as a human being, by Being an Individual Thinker

You see, we fear shaking the hornets nest because we fear ridicule, shame, being disliked and so on, so when life goes in a way that is in other people’s control but not our own, we tend to sit down and do nothing about it, we fail ourselves and others when we conform.

The secret is to know what we are actually talking about and then go on full steam ahead, knock people off their self imposed benches of conformity, and let our own view be heard.

You see, when we live our lives and many many opportunities appear that give us the chance to have our say and we do nothing, we are mentally telling ourselves that we are cowards, afraid of other people’s words, opinions, and condemnation.

This is because the first 15 years of our lives it was constantly pushed in to our minds that “this system” is reality and we must obey the rules that are not spoken aloud, that we will be punished is we go against the grain of what Society around us has loyally and mentally-blindly accepted.

The rules where we have the chance to have our say, but we fear what other people will say about us and our ideas, beliefs, and so on.

After years of saying nothing and doing nothing, becoming no-one and not having a say becomes normal, a habit, and we walk away when we are needed because now we have become so used to living like this we know no other way to be.

Deep down inside we know that we should do something, but we have become so used to doing nothing, that that is the cowardly mode we now naturally slip in to.

Often people use entertainments, sin, and other activities to hide from who and what they have become.

If People Want You to say Nice things about you then they should have treated you better.

This reminds me of people who were abused as children, and then as adults they speak out, tell the world what really happened in their home, especially if their parents were part of sex-rings and so on. It can be very frightening standing up, but the people who will be helped, protected, and given a new lease of life should outweigh the shame, yet many stay silent and say nothing, and in doing so they protect the abusers so that the abusers can keep abusing others.

When we stand up and have our say we are showing others who we are, what we believe, that we do not agree with crime, and so on. And in doing this we are changing people lives deeply, and freeing many from mental suffering and torment that they have suffered for many years.

Being a hero is being a person who refuses to let the social norms and social control limit their say in life.

We need to realise that when we stand up and have our say that we are being watched by other people, especially younger people and they will see us as special, good, decent, wonderful people. The younger generations need to see us stand up for what is right, even facing shame and ridicule, because our efforts will free others who suffer everywhere as we have suffered.

Hitler was able to seduce the minds of everyday people to do horrific things because they were easily led, they were the conformers, and when Hitlers lot told the people how to believe, act, behave, what to think, they did exactly as they were told. Hitler was not the real enemy, it was the eager masses, millions, who followed his madness and they happily saluted and followed Hitler.

You really don’t want to be a conformer, you want to be a thinker, a person who will question any power that appears before you and you have the right to deny, stand up against anyone or anything that you do not believe is good, especially when you know that they are deceiving people Your voice should be heard, and you have a right to have your say, expose and people who should be exposed to the world.

Weak-minded people are the people who believe anything that they are told. They don’t ask for evidence, they just assume that they like the person who told them the story, gossip and such thus to them it must be the truth. Politicians love followers, conformers, and people who don’t question what they are told, and they adore people who are loyal even when the politician is exposed as a crook.

Your True Superpower is Not Being A Conformer, but instead Being You and Thinking Out of the Box/Square. This is where you become worthy, important, needed by others, wanted, liked, and a Hero to those Who Need You!

Thus if he or she knows that God exists, then he or she does not need a church to tell them what to think, how to think, what to say and who to follow. The person knows that God is there and that he or she can have a relationship with God, and the relationship is the result of seeing, believing what happens to that person in that relationship. The relationship is Spiritual, not a ritual, or a church worship, or giving money to a religion.

The same is for Life and Society. We live what we believe, and it does not have to be as others believe. We leave them to the beliefs that they have, and we all learn from one another. But there are no established organizations that can groom, brainwash, or form us, we simply think as we do, and we are an open mind to all leanings, life, and leanings of all other people.

But our main goal is to do the best that we can for others, and be the best that we can be ourselves.

A better world for us all, animals, plant life, humans, the environment, healthy stable, content, natural living, and we live and show this for the greater good of all.
