I was after a good small knife that would easily be tucked away in a pocket or belt holster and be sharp enough for household work and to take out on my job to cut rope, flax, and other things as is called for from time to time. Image 1 and Image 3 show the knife open and closed and Image 2 shows the case and blades that come with the knife when you buy it.
This is a useful folding knife, much like a pocket knife, with blades that can be changed when they become damaged or blunt. The knife comes with 5 SK5 blades which are very sharp and make cutting a fast bit of work.
On the back is a clip for clipping the knife to your belt etc.
The knife is very easy to use and light to handle, while also being so light that it is hardly noticed in ones pocket or in my case in a pocket on my Hi-Vis. It takes next to no effort to whip it out, use it, and then put it away, and it feels safe as long as you are careful and can handle a knife such as this.
So far I have found this knife very useful around the home for jobs such as opening parcels, and on the job for cutting rope and flax. You don’t notice that you have it until it is needed. Made of good quality material as far as I can tell and holds up well to the work that I have put it through so far.
Recommended if you need a small, handy, sharp knife that will get the job done as soon as needed.
It cost me a mere $10.90 incl GST and it is money well spent.
But pl3as3 beware that on some heavy work the blade can come out of the knife. This has happened to me a few times, and I think that this is due to the way that the blade is inserted and held in the knife.
I got it from TopMaq https://www.topmaq.co.nz/
