Maxkon claims that this steamer:
• Kills 99.9% of bacteria
• Clean & Degrease.
• Sanitizes & Refreshes.
It does come in various versions with different amounts that the water tank holds.
I got one of these Maxkon High Pressure Steam Cleaners recently because I wanted to clean my mats and carpets and also other things in the house.
I read some reviews of this unit and they were not that good. I also read the reviews of the Karcher version and the main complaint was something breaking and the irate customers could not get replacement parts or the company would not get back to them when they asked for help.
In the end after looking around I finally decided to get the Maxkon version.
Sometimes I buy something and the reviews are horrible yet the product works fine for me.
My lawnmower is the same as the lawnmower a friend had. His lawnmower lasted about 3 years and he was not happy with it. My lawnmower was bought back in 2017 and it is still going well.
A thought I had was, that some item was faulty in the earlier versions of a product and then the company fixed the problem.
Now the fault no longer exists. So anyone who buys the newer versions will find that the product works fine for them.
As you can see in Image 2 the unit comes with many attachments, in a molded plastic suitcase/container. I have only used some of the supplied attachments so far, but I can tell you that they are very helpful.
Filling the unit is easy using the provided container. I generally fill the container twice. Then you turn the unit on, after putting the cap on the water tank securely, and wait for the light on top to go Green.
Once the light is green you can now use the steamer.
I wanted to clean around the kitchen sinks and found the Big Nozzle very useful for getting into those hard to get to places like around the stainless steel sink where it meats the bench-top. Gunk can build up in such places. I just pointed the nozzle into the gap and the gunk just gets blown out by the steam.
The steam is not very hot, I wish it were a bit more hotter, but I assume that it is kept at the temperature so that windows can be washed with it, or glass items and so on.
I used this between some tiles under the sink and they came ut shining, and the gaps between the tiles were easily cleaned out.
The mixture of heat, steam and the force help remove/blast gunk from area’s that are hard to reach.
I used the Floor Brush on the kitchen floating floor and it came out looking nice and clean.
I intend to experiment with this unit. But so far I have no regrets buying this steamer, it does the job, that the extra bonus is getting into those hard to get places and cleaning them out as well.
Update:
I washed my kitchen window aluminum frames and the lounge window aluminum frames, also the ranch slider with the small Round Brush attachment it was easy work, far faster than with a scrubber, water and cloth’s. The windows and frames look excellent, clean and fresh. So far, I am enjoying cleaning with this product. 4th of November, 2021.
