How to hold a Punching Bag Stand Steady.

I have had issues with this in the past where I hit or kick the bag so hard that the whole stand topples over, and that is dangerous and also since it is close to the french windows it could cause some damage and break windows.
So for a quick fix:

I put a Ring Hook in the ceiling above the stand. Try to make sure that you will put the Ring Hook in where there is wood.

But I was careful to put the hook between the ceiling tiles so as to be easy to fill and hide if I remove the hook int he future. I went out to the garage to see if I could find a chain to connect the hook and the top of the stand and found an old Blue dog nylon collar that I have no recollection of using, so it may have been left by the previous house owners, and I used that instead. I gave it a good clean first, and used a Carabiner Hook to attach it to the Ring Hook in the ceiling.

At the bottom I attached the ring on the nylon dog collar to the Carabiner Hook that holds the Punching Bag up.

My Punching bag has sand inside of it so it is heavy and once it starts to swing it wants to topple everything over so hopefully this will work.
If this does not work I will add a chain instead of the dog collar and also if the Ring Hook comes out of the ceiling as it did not have a very long screw on it, I may find a longer Ring Hook that can get further into the woo d above.

Thats it for now. I hope this tip was helpful.
