Digital Logic Gates have a truth table which shows the possible combinations of inputs with the possible outputs.
 
Low = 0
High = 1
 
The AND gate is a logic gate where both inputs have to be 1 (High) for the output to be 1 (High).           
 
A·B = Y
 
The AND Gate Truth Table:

0 0 0
0 1 0
1 0 0
1 1 1
