Christian/Religion Studies

This is a collection of studies for the public to use to help them understand the various religions of the world and their beliefs.

 The Holy Land::
This is the name given to Palestine. There are many historical sites there which are considered to be Holy sites associated with Jesus and His ministry.

One place in the Holy Land that holds great interest is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is sometimes called the Church of the Resurrection.
This spot holds great interest and many pilgrims due to people believing that this is where the tomb of Jesus (the sepulchre) is, the death and the resurrection.

Many religious faiths hold The Holy Land as special and of great religious importance.
This area of the world has a rich history of many tales of adventure, of Christian peoples, of religious adventures, and of the many pilgrims that have visited these hallowed grounds.
Another history is of the wars held in this area, the most famous is probably the Crusades.

Sadly even with all of its religious significance this area of the world seems to have always
been marred with war.

These Holy places in which pilgrimage is made by people who want to see and be where the great Biblical events took place, or as close to the real places if we don't know exactly where they took place. To these people a visit to the Holy Land can be deeply spiritual and a time that they have saved and waited for, for many years.

Consider other peoples lives before you make
judgements upon them, consider their trials and tribulations that they
have had to go through. Consider the pain that they have had, just like you,
and realise that other people are in many ways like you, no matter what
gender, age or race. This makes it easier to forgive and help people.
