We are often told that we have basic needs, the need for food, water, a healthy lifestyle, and a good education.
Your needs as a human being go far beyond that.
For you to operate on all cylinders, at all levels, you need certain needs met.
For you to feel that life is worth living you need encouragement, personal self belief,
and the like.
People can harm your needs, especially Narcissistic people.
If you have people around you, even family, who are not encouraging then they are not helping you along in your growth in confidence and courage.
We can survive in the physical sense without some of these needs, but we struggle deeply mentally.
By having the right people around you then you are creating a positive encouraging environment that will help you develop while you help others develop in the spiritual sense, the soul.
While it may feel heartbreaking sometimes removing certain people from our lives, or keeping them at a distance, we are doing ourselves a lot of good by trying to meet our more spiritual needs that help us develop as a human being so that we can cope with life and grow in love for all, grow in courage and confidence.
A good exercise for you is to consider what your more deeper mental and spiritual
needs are, and then ask yourself are they being met so that you can mature into a
loving compassionate wholesome human being?
