A time for courage.

There comes times in our lives when we are scared or worried about doing something that is required of us. Although the unknown is a factor we must realise that nothing was ever gained by staying in ones comfort zone. No inventions would have been made with people staying at home watching the television. The plane wouldn’t have been invented but for the courage to want to try and test theories and ideas in the hope that they will work and then comes the time of testing the plane in flight – frightening. Imagine the first parachute jump. The first jet plane takeoff. This is a big list because human’s are well known for our amazing wonderful and strange inventions and ideas.

The first time a young man approaches a girl to take her out on a date is a scary experience for him, and probably for her too – they are shy and not wanting to embarrass one another or accidentally do something silly etc. But it has to happen that people need to meet one another, interaction is a important part of living. If God shows you your destiny then it is wise to do as God asks you to do, this is why we must submit our will to God. If we didn’t then we wouldn’t do as He asks us for our own good. God sees more, God knows more, so to follow God is alright.
With fear we react to feelings, negative thoughts which tend to overpower us – other may people often jump in to tell us that we cannot do this and that. In fact everyone who has ever achieved something will tell you of all the people who have made negative comments about their abilities and people will gladly inform us what they claim that we are not able to do what it is that we aim to do – we can listen to them and get nowhere or step forth and conquer the world, or at least do something grand in our little world.

First the fear that holds us back is powerful, but it can be overpowered. Like the adult who is scared of heights but will climb a tree to save their child who is stuck in the tree. One feeling overpowers the other. Use this to take you forward from the past to the future. Overpower your fears with your trust in God’s will for you and God’s protection.
Common sense and a sensible look at what we want to achieve will help. If you have a will to do something, then make it work. It will happen if you will make it work. Never give up, always live with a deep sense of hope in your heart – your dreams of happiness can be achieved. Make it happen, live your life. Be, who you want to be and where there is a will, there is a way – you can do anything if you set your mind to it!

The essence of greatness is in every soul, and every heart. There is nobody who is beyond the reach of happiness and the love of God. We can be what we want to be, where we want to live, who we want to be with. Freedom is not holding yourself back – reach out and be there, where you heart lies. Freedom is wanting what God wants you to have and then having the courage to be it and be free. When deciding what you want to do in life, be careful and weigh up your options. Then make the bold moves to make your decision a reality
