Seeing Things As They Really Are!

Humankind over the last century has carefully and unwittingly created a fantasy world and that is mostly the western world consists of today.

This fantasy world is mainly a creation of governments, the entertainment media and the media in general and social systems all in an attempt to make peoples lives better. This has happened over many decades and its gradual progress has made it easier to accept. It has become a part of human life.

Hard to believe?
It would be, because you grew up in it, this is what you know to exist
therefore it is your, our, faked reality.

People during the early years of the entertainment industry were very wary of brain washing by people who wanted to gain money by fooling the public in mass. I have read that some government departments world-wide tried to learn different ways to brain wash individuals and collections of people at once. One instance was at a picture theater where an advertisement was flashed at a speed that was faster than the human eye could see. The theory was that while the conscious mind could not see the images shown because of its limitations, the subconscious mind was able to see the advertisements. It appears the experiment worked to some degree.

When the public found out, there was an outcry, people were horrified and disgusted that they have and could be fooled in this way. It also set the devious minds to wondering what other methods could be used to gain that all important dollar from the average citizen.

During the second World War there was a lot of talk of trying to find ways of brain washing people so that either side could get sensitive information from captured soldiers. A lot of money and time was spent to try and get good reliable results. Many different methods were used and the results varied.

Today we see the same thing happening but on a more global scale. As the business world grew global, especially with internet growth, over the last few decades marketing has become a multi-billion dollar field. Advertising has grown to huge proportions with the demand for countries economies to be satisfied. Governments have seen the importance of recruiting specialists in many fields to help their country compete with other countries in an attempt to be ahead in commercial growth.

We people have accepted that advertising is important because it helps keep company’s in much needed money so that they can grow and become more prosperous, nobody wants to live in a third-world country.

Governments know that these companies need advertising and more money to help the countries growth. We have accepted advertising on television, radio, magazines and now even at the movies. Movie people are adding products to their movies to help cut the costs of making today’s multimillion dollar films.

You would not be surprised to see your favourite actor drinking a can of frizzy drink with its label clearly seen all through the entire movie or driving a car that a car company paid the movie company money to have on the movie.

Advertising has become a normal part of our lives, we accept it and get on with life. But what we don’t realise is that the huge amount of advertising that we are seeing is actually having a big affect on our daily lives. It is putting us in debt. We are buying products that we don’t need. Have a good look around your home, your children’s toy boxes and in your garage. What’s really happening is that we are being “duped” into buying products that we don’t need because companies are desperate to keep ahead of their competitors and stay at the top of the earning scale, also keeping the share holders happy.

I remember years ago when I was with some of my work mates from a paper mill and we were watching television. These guys were all Coca Cola drinkers, they always only brought Coca Cola.

One day we were watching a program with a rock star on it, if I remember correctly it was a live concert or something like that. The rock star was drinking Pepsi during the advertisements all through the show. My work mates decided that they wanted to go and get some food and drink which they did and when they came back they all had cans of Pepsi. I was a bit surprised. I watched them and not one guy made a comment about drinking Pepsi, it just all seem to happen so naturally. And afterwards I started really thinking about the affects that advertising was having on our lives.

These men changed from their favourite drink to Pepsi because they liked the rock star and they wanted to identify themselves with him and they did it willingly, subconsciously.
The next day they were all drinking Coca Cola again.

If you are doubting what I am writing here consider this. The advertising companies pay huge amounts of money for very short periods of time on television, newspapers, magazines, radio and anywhere else they can promote their offering to the public. They don’t spend this money for no reason, they know that it works and you are unwillingly the victim of this huge multi million dollar brain washing machine.

Most children today have rooms full of gadgets that are pumped on television advertisements on a daily basis at children’s viewing times. This advertising machine is setting your children up to be grown up buyers of their products and most parents are just sitting by and not noticing what’s happening in their own living room. Children need to discern what’s good for them and they can never do that when the advertising agencies are spending billions of dollars finding out ways of taking money off you and your children.

The worlds human population needs to get back to the basics of human friendship and survival. The new reality our Fathers and Mothers before us have created is primarily based on economic growth of the country as a whole, it was not designed for the individual as a person. You may consider shaking your head as you read this and I can easily understand why because this lifestyle is all you really know, but it is not the truth or true nature of mankind.

Humans need to mix with other humans in a peaceful happy way which in turns creates goodwill and an existence that at times during history has existed. Today there is not so much goodwill anymore.

While we humans may watch a movie boasting some six foot athletic type male playing the role of a super hero who drives a sporty car and has woman all around him, which he uses at his pleasure and then forgets them. He uses his super electronic gadgets to help him track down the bad guys, we watch with awe at this actors ability to play this part so ideal. Yet how many of us realise that God watches those who are suffering and weak and helps them as they struggle to be set free from the simple pains of life. You can trust in God when you are feeling weak and desperate for it is he who will be at your side to rescue you. All the movie actors and actresses in the world are only “acting” out parts that they cannot play, they are just false images of what could be real or was once real – they are not the Truth. They are hypocrites, the pretenders. Once they were called hypocrites, today we call them actors. You know something is wrong with the people of the world when they idolize the hypocrites and turn their backs on what is Holy and Just.

We need to focus on what is real and not on what is reported to “be interesting” by the entertainment media. The entertainment industry makes billions of dollars every year and they will go to great lengths to guide you into playing a part in making up the huge sums of money that they want. Focus on your life and not the lives of others who you have never met and will never meet, those stars of the entertainment industry.

By doing this you can get a grasp on what needs to be done in your life to make the changes that you previously wished for. The only way that you can focus on yourself is to do away with the entertainment scene and concentrate on you and your family.

If you take the entertainment scene out of your life for a few months you may be shocked at what little your life amounts to. This is because the entertainment world has swallowed up such a large part of your life up until now, by removing it you can see the vacuum that you have created. The next thing to do is to fill the gap with things that you previously wanted to do, and at the same time ignoring the entertainment scene. Your progress will amaze you and you will find that their is real meaning to your life as you mingle with real people and not the faked people of television and the movie industry.
