Today we go to the doctors to be healed or looked after, we assume this belief because we are told that the doctor can heal us or fix us from childhood. The truth is that doctors cannot heal. A doctor is not a healer. The doctor takes a great oath to do a worthy job to help people – we owe a lot to doctors, but they are not healers. Even if a surgeon joins skin together and sews it up it is the human body that heals the cut, the surgeon like the doctor is a kind of car mechanic. We take to them our sore broken bodies and they do the best to their knowledge to help us.

 

God is himself a vast medicine for man. It is the heart of God that carries restoration, inspiration, aspiration, and final victory. – Henry Ward Beecher.

 

Many millions of people in the past have finally come to the end of themself and found God – but they have to give up on all other forms of help before they find God, the one and true God. One finds a free life when they put all their trust in God and not in the ways of humanity.

 

Doctors, therapists etc do not have miracle cures, or though many have stated that they have seen many miracles. The doctor and nurse becomes accustomed to a situation working out as it does with their help and guidance – when the unusual happens it takes them by surprise, but not to a believer in God.

Christ is known as the Great healer. He healed with the heart and spirit. Today we still read about many miracles. The doctors, nurses and surgeons are amazed when “no-hope cases” become healed and nobody has an explanation for the miracle healing of mind or body.

 

I have read many stories like this, an seen some amazing miracles. There is much healing going and God is in it somewhere. I have total faith that God can do anything that he deems right. Remember that God knows our hearts and the future, present and the past – we don’t so we cannot judge what God does. But God can do it if He feels it necessary and the right people pray and raise our names to Him. This is why we have prayer chains for the sick and dying.

 

Exodus Chapter 15, verse 26:

…I am the LORD that healeth thee.

 

Matthew Chapter 4, verse 23:

 

Christ is the healer, and Christ is who people need to go to, to be healed. I have noticed over the years the many people who have come to Christ for help an spiritually they have been stronger and their physical ailments get better, and especially things like addictions etc. A physical addiction is carnal and of the material world, it is the new birth of spiritual awareness that breaks away the chains that bind us to a physical addiction.

 

The Divine Being brings comfort and consolation to men. He is a God for men and woman that are weak, and want to be strong; for people that are impure, and want to be pure; for people that are unjust, and want to be just; for people that are unloving, and want to be loving; for people that aspire to all the greatness and glory of which the soul is capable. – Henry Ward Beecher.
