Paper Mache (Papier-mâché) Glue/Flour Glue.

When I was a child my mother used to make us children Flour Glue, because it was cheap and washed off.

Image 1

To make this Flour Glue get two jars, drinking glasses, bowls, whatever you choose, and fill one up to halfway with flour and the other with a bit more than halfway with water as is shown in Image 1. The extra water is in case the mix is too thick.

Image 2

Pour about half of the water into the glass with flour in it (Image 2) , then with a blunt butter knife, spoon, whatever, and start mixing it together.

Image 3

Mix until you get a smooth (but not too thick) mix with no lumps as is shown in Image 3.

If the mix is too thick add small amounts of water until just right, and if the mix is too watery add small amounts of flour and mix it in until just right.

Now you can use this in your fun Paper Mache projects, and other paper/arts and crafts work.

Have fun!

All the best from
