A simple and effective way to solve this problem saving time, money and energy (rather than going to an electronics store or ordering new Eye Terminals of the correct size online) is to drill the holes to the right size.

Please be sure to use a strong vice or clamp to hold the Eye Terminal sturdy while you drill it to the new size.

And thats it, a simple quick fix.
