When we are helping and guiding people it is very important to encourage them and improve their self confidence.
While it is important that they believe in themselves it is very important that they believe that God loves them very much.
Society does not tend to teach people about God and the ways of God. So we must do the teaching and we must learn how to deal with real life situations so that we can help the lost become saved, and teach them how to live again.
Part of the spiritual healing of every soul is learning that God loves us. In God’s mind each and every one of us is very important to Him. We must be sure to help people understand that their life is important and that they are unique and shouldn’t be judged by the mistakes of the past.
Before they become new we should see them as new, and then help heal their troubled souls, while helping them become that new person that God sees in them.
A person who has suffered and/or been mistreated has a hurt shattered soul that needs rebuilding. This work of love must be done gently and carefully to be a permanent cure. Trust is very important in the matters of the heart and soul.
