Following the crowd makes the crowd the pilot of our life

Following the crowd makes the crowd the pilot of our life, and we are pushed, pulled, and shoved in all directions. The flight is rough, and takes many directions and a few disasters.
Being our own pilot takes self control, and believing that we have a chance. It takes courage to step up to the controls and then guide our own life.
We need that courage because whenever we do things for ourself in our own way there will always be many who tell us that it is wrong. And then they try to get us to let them take control of our life all over again.
Piloting your own life is taking control from others and going in the direction that you know is where your heart lies. What many of us don’t know is that God gave us the pilots license before we were born.
It will be hard to get control back at first, and yes there will be resistance. Planes take off going into the wind, that is how they get their lift. You too must head into the wind, face the resistance and forge forward to your destiny.
We never know who we are, or what we are capable of unless we take the controls and follow that dream. Sometimes we may not know what our dream is, but we can have faith that God will take us in the right direction. One day it will all start to make some sense.
The first step is the hardest, the second a bit easier, the third is when you start thinking that you are getting a good rhythm going, and onwards you go. You do this with the feeling of the wind in your face, that wind, it is called “freedom” – go for it.
No one else is going to give you your dreams, only you can do that. Only you can choose. Only you can make your life happen.
A little warning here.
Doing sports is not reaching your destiny.
Running a company is not reaching your destiny.
Passing exams is not getting your destiny.
Your destiny is a far off distant place in your heart that you were born to be. You have to get there, but it is within you. It is in you and yet it is your future destination. You will reach your destiny, and you will live in your destiny. You and your destiny will one day be one. It is spiritual and not of the physical.
Before any of this can come true you must believe that you have a destiny, and you must stay on the road to get to it.
All the best from
James M Sandbrook.
