How to Remove the large lid on a Large Plastic Waste/Rubbish Bin

These plastic bin lids can be a hassle.
I used my bin to carry stuff around my house and found the bin lid to get in the way.

Image 3 shows the pin that holds the lid in place. There are two of them, one on each side. Both must be removed. Image 4 shows the pin removed.
They can be a bit stiff to remove the first time, but its not a big problem.

Image 5 shows the two pins after removal.
So that you do not lose the two pins, just put them back into the holes that they were originally in (Image 6), and when you go to put the bin lid back in place just pull them pout and put the lid back where it belongs and use the pins to do their original job 🙂
