I was reminded today of a man who was completely paralyzed and all he could do was lay in a bed and talk. He moped for a while because of his position, but then decided to get positive and he decided that he would be a thinker for his family.
So he got all his family brought into his room and then he told them that he would make a plan for a company. He would choose their roles in the company and organize everything. They all did as he suggested. To cut a long story short he did this and run a very successful company in the USA that made them all very rich, famous and happy.
I have read a lot of books and as far as I can remember this story was in a Dale Carnegie book. The point is that there is always someone worse off than we are. And it is also an amazing inspiration to find that the person worse off than we are made the best of what they had and did amazing things, often far beyond what we believed that we could do.
Please always remember that your personal mental attitude to life makes a huge difference to how your life is going to turn out for you.
There are many crippled, blind (Helen Keller to name one) and needy people who rise above the path that life gave them, and that other people put them through, and they rose above all the negatives and became someone who remembering and who inspired many.
There is that motivator (I forget his name) with no arms and no legs, he didn’t let his lack of limbs hold him back from a happy life. I remember a story about a disfigured man who got a job at General Electric. He rose up the ranks and became very good at what he did and was a much valued member of the company and he inspired many.
When you read a lot of motivational books like I have you come to read many amazing stories of some very amazing people, people who have go beyond the call of duty for others. people who unselfishly rose above what people call limitations, and succeeded anyway.
Please let those types of people inspire you. Know that you were born with a purpose and that you are worthy, and deep inside you is the courage that when it is unleashed will drive you to face any obstacles around you to achieve the life that shine your talents and will help make the world a better place for all.
All the best from
