It is never too late to be what you might have been. – Mary Ann Evans.

When I was a teenager I had no idea that I didn’t need to accept the depressing life that I felt that I had. For me life had no further hope, and that I was now to settle down to a life that didn’t make me happy.
I failed most things I tried so it seems and was often pointed out to me. I felt restless, and life felt pointless. My parents separated, both lived a rough life, neither were good examples of life, living or parenting.
It wasn’t until some years later someone handed me a motivational book. It was a Christian man. The book was about careers, making lots of money etc. But the thing that hit me was the surprise that I could change my life, and that I didn’t have to live the life that I was living. No one had ever told me that before, and life up to that point felt very pointless because I had nothing to believe in except the working mans life, retire, then die.

I guess I wrote this to remind you that if you are unhappy with the way that your life is going that you can change your life to something else.
Many of us get stuck in a mindset that keeps us attached to a life that we really don’t enjoy.
Many of us get stuck in a mindset that keeps us attached to a life that we really don’t enjoy.
For instance, if you are poor you can change that.
If you are living a life that you are ashamed of you can start making plans that will lead you to a life that will bring other people’s respect and you will respect yourself more. If you are unhappy now, you can become happy.
It is not too late to have that childhood dream, that wonderful marriage, that life that you have always dreamed of, etc.

Society tends to lock onto us and steer us away from our dreams and onto a life that we accept, but don’t want.
We need to break the chains that bind us to that life and head in a different direction, go against the flow, find or own path to happiness.
They say that God has a plan for each of us, that would be a good direction to head on.
