People who are looking for happiness often try to find it outside of themself, like they hope that a career will give them happiness, or more money will bring power and more opportunities and that will make them happy, or parties, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, and material gain may bring happiness, confidence and greater self-esteem, but it never does.
We may think that the perfect partner is someone with “the perfect body”, or the one we think gives the best sex, or has the most money, a car, is a hard-out party goer, druggy and boozer is what it’s fun and popular, or is a business success.
We need to look at the heart of the person to find someone who we can trust and love.
We want reliability, not a slacker.
We want hope, not someone hopeless.
We want honesty, not a liar.
What we want is someone who has such a good character that we know that this person will treat is with the utmost love and respect as we want to give them.
We need to focus on a person’s heart and soul, and if we find a gentleman or a decent lady, then we know how this person will treat us in marriage.
See what I mean?
All the best from
