Helping People grow!

Don’t Compromise.

People Can Struggle with Change in Their Own Lives.

Sometimes the problem with fixing someone, is that the person who you are trying to fix is taking years from your life because they are stubborn and refuse to change, as they do they suck up years of your life leaving you broken in soul and body.
And when they see what they did to your life, body and mind that person calls you a loser, because they have changed to a better person (because of your sacrifices for them), and they walk away wanting nothing to do with you.

In the movie Don’t Worry Darling the guy Chris Pine asks, “What is the enemy of progress.” and Dean says, “Chaos.”
But that is not true. You see, we get caught up in dullness, habits, conformity, and it is only some form of chaos that breaks it up, wakes us up, and has us thinking individually once again.
pine’s character manipulates people with positives, promises of wonderful things, and motivational statements. He gets them feeling good so that he can control them.

The Lord is Good to Me

From “Melody Time”

The lord is good to me
And so I thank the lord
For giving me the things I need
The sun and rain and an appleseed

Yes, he’s been good to me
I owe the lord so much
For everything I see
I’m certain if it weren’t for him
There’d be no apples on this limb

He’s been good to me

Oh, here am I ‘neath the blue, blue sky a-doin’ as I please
Singin’ with my feathered friends, hummin’ with the bees
I wake up every day as happy as can be
Because I know that with his care
My apple trees, they will still be there

Oh, the lord is good to me

The thing that I am finding out is that if you believe that God is real, Living and true then you need to believe His work in your life daily.

God is of peace and love. Peace means forgiving, not causing strife among others, no greed, no pride, no lusts. Peace is causing others to be happy, and having harmony among the people.

If we were to look at our past and see those that we are still holding grudges with we need to realise that we cannot have peace in life, or happiness as long as we have bad feelings about others. This is why a God of love and peace requires of us to make the effort to make peace with other people. We may or may not succeed, but we must try. Trying means that at least we made our own best effort.

Jesus tells us to get right with our brothers and sisters of the world. God wants us to forgive us as He has forgiven us. We are invited to love our neighbour.

Matthew Chapter 5, verses 43-44:
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Matthew Chapter 22, verses 37-39:
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

The life that God wants us to have is all based on love and peace. God wants us to follow Him and to have a life of peaceful harmony with people all around the world.

We may teach, peacefully correct people, we may guide, we may show people the right way, we may preach, be charitable, do good deeds, share love everywhere and be good worthy parents growing good worthy children.

God wants us to be happy, and the only way that this can happen is if we live in peaceful harmony with our brothers and sisters everywhere. And we can only do that by being love and peace ourselves.

The gentle, encouraging, understanding souls are what our society needs to help get us through the troubled times. They make a positive difference that we remember forever in gratitude.

Please try to see God’s guidance as a child does, with faith, hope and love. Not with the pessimistic doubt of adults.

Those who walk with worldly wisdom are blinded by their own self importance, ego and pride. They only see the material world, they deny themselves the truths of life and God.

The Bible constantly mentions the foolishness of the doubtful and how they bring upon themselves their own destruction.

Please for your own sake and your own Salvation look for God’s work in your life with hopeful innocence.

Once you know that God is with you then stand by that and act on it because this is your journey with God.

Remember your walk with God is between you and God.

I don’t want to be married just to be married. I can’t think of anything lonelier than spending the rest of my life with someone I can’t talk to, or worse, someone I can’t be silent with.

 – Mary Ann Shaffer.

A Deep-Thinker ponders a thought.

They consider all the options, and try to see different points of view from all angles. They also investigate what they have been told and use their common-sense, intuition, prayer and investigation to find the truth. Often they will not commit themself to what they have been told until they are truly satisfied that it is the truth (regardless of who told them of what it is that they are considering).

The Shallow-Thinker believes what has been told to them without any proof or proof of their own (They don’t need visual facts or solid evidence) and act with full judgment and accusations. Shallow thinkers just skim over the thought in their minds and only use a small part of their mental capabilities to find the truth, they often stop far short of the truth and settle with whatever they have been told – even if it is not from a reliable source.

Shallow thinkers are often getting into trouble because they are not deep thinkers. And although the warnings of life are right in front of them their eyes just skim over them and they continue forward ignoring risks and fall often. Sometimes they are saved by some serious event “waking them up from their dream-world” so they start to see life as it is.

The next time someone comes a knocking on your door telling stories you have the choice of choosing the above two choices to find the truth. For the sake of fairness and your own sanity, take your time and consider your options no matter who has told the story to you. Don’t (at least at first) believe what people tell you – you do have the ability to think and investigate.

Agreeing with someone for the sake of agreeing is a weak thing to do. Agreeing with the hope of being “popular” is a very weak thing to do.

Standing alone and considering what you have been told and investigating while refusing to be a part of the Witch-Hunt is the strong and courageous thing to do.

God honors those who stand alone and do the right thing because it is the right thing and saves people from being hurt. Also with time and patience the truth surfaces, but the shallow thinker will probably miss it, while the deep thinker will be ready for the truth and will act on it accordingly.

I do this all the time.

If people want to rant, argue etc, sometimes I listen, but if it is obviously a waste of time, I just walk away. Some people won’t get the truth no matter how much you try. Let the drama queens and prideful rant to themselves. If they start an argument with you, you don’t have to take part, walk away and have peace.

The only time that a man and woman should share a marriage, a home, a bed, and a lifetime is when they are genuinely spiritually deep in love.

God is the glue (God is love) that holds their true love together and keeps them on each others hearts all day long.
For the two in love, God will always find a way!

Narcissists tend to believe that they do one thing (something good and honourable etc) while in reality they are doing the exact opposite.

This quote is about what you say to them or what you should “think” when they are parading their supposed innocence etc.

We can become addicted to many things. Even if we do something on a regular basis that seems fun and innocent it can still be an addiction.

One of the reasons that it is so hard to convince someone that he or she has an addiction is because they see their addictive behaviour as normal. It is especially hard helping people who have addictions if society promotes the behaviour and supports it.

It is said that the “regular” activities that we do can be addictive. Like someone can be addicted to sex, but he or she just feels that they love sex and they want lots of what they like doing.
A person could be just as addicted to masturbation, and they find themself drawn to masturbation but they are never really satisfied because they want to do it often. People can be addicted to work. Or having a few drinks of alcohol after work each day, they don’t have to get drunk.

A guy or female who has casual sex with different people every now and then may tell themself that it is fun, a lifestyle choice, and exciting. But the reality is that they could have a sex addiction and they are addicted to the thrill of a new person to sleep with each weekend etc. This person may even lie to themself and to family and friends, and always claim that it is all leading to finding true love. But when they get into a relationship he or she sleeps around still. Once they are caught out they return back to the casual sex again, he or she can’t control themselves. Society accepts casual sex, mind doctors may tell us that it is a choice, so the slavery to the addiction continues.

If an activity is regular, a “must have and a must to do”, and if the person feels “withdrawal feelings” if they don’t do that activity then it is an addiction.

Please remember that addiction is a form of slavery of some sort. A slavery interferes with our life, and we find that we have to adjust our life to fit the accepted-addiction in so that we can continue with it. But with time it can take up more and more of our life and cause far more trouble than it is worth, like shame, lack of confidence, feelings of being weak, and upsetting people. It can interfere with family and work etc.

Some people may feel that adjusting their life for the addiction is creating happy fun times, but the reality is that they are going to pay a price for that addiction in the future in some way. They may lose family, lose friends, work may suffer, they become too ashamed to be in public as the addiction escalates so they stay in their room etc.

Another point is to look around you. Are the people around you, or other people as active as you in what you do? That could be a sign that your activity is unnatural and unhealthy for you.

Example:
If you were addicted to work then you may be the last one to leave the job every night, maybe hours after everyone else. We can tell ourselves little lies to convince ourself that our over dedicated activities are because we are committed and faithful. Telling ourselves lies makes us feel good about what is destroying our happiness.

Please understand that there are always excuses for addiction. And sometimes people lie to us to comfort us saying that our behavior is normal. But any form of slavery is not normal.

A sports activity can be an addiction. Extreme sports etc.

Are your activities harming your relationships? Are they interfering with the important things in life like family, your love for your children, activities that you used to enjoy that were innocent and fun?

Try going a day, or a few days or weeks without something that you suspect could be an addiction. If you feel withdrawal symptoms, emotional turmoil, anxiety, and frustration etc, then you have an addiction that is harming your life and taking away your happiness and freedom.
