The mind is a very busy computer that works all day and all night, the goings on never stop. But like all computers it works on what goes into it (what it is made up off – positives or negatives) and what it computes all day. Like a robot the body acts on what the computer tells us or by what the computer thinks about all day.

During our childhood a lot of data is installed into our minds from logical education (like school), personal experiences and events, and from adults. As an adult we can become captive of our mind and not even know this. Thoughts, good and bad, can flow through our minds and we can act on the thinking that they are who we are.

The mind plays movies in our heads that we can believe are true. For example a person suffering depression and anxiety can think something is to be feared or is risky because of their mental state, not because it is risky or fearful. In this case their mind will come up with many excuses not to take the chance and will possibly even run various negative examples of what could go wrong in the mind and that will convince them not to try.

If we become mindful of what we are thinking we can control the outcome. Pessimistic people can see gloom and doom everywhere and really believe that what they see is the truth. Even when things go right for them they still can come up with a grey cloudy version of what happened to confirm their belief that everything always goes wrong for them.

A good idea is to form an idea (template) of who we have decided that we are and then refuse any mental input that tries to tell us otherwise, or tries is to make us do other things.

For instance I feel that I am a good person, a gentleman and have a good nature – so if any thoughts enter my mind that do not fit in this image that I have of myself then I refuse to entertain them, I refuse to give them room in my mind and I pass those thoughts by. I got into the habit of listening to my mind and then adapting my mind accordingly. This way I have control of my mind and my own thinking, and my mind does not have control of me.

Just as you lift a child up and put him in a chair and comfort the little one, you should also lift yourself up spiritually when you are feeling down in heart and soul.

 

As you care and love others, care and love yourself, do it gently, carefully, and appreciate that good care of any animal, plant or human will give blessed results so do so for yourself – care for yourself.

There comes a time in every life when we must stop being carried by other people and instead we must stand up for ourself.

This means not running to other people when things get a bit scary or rough. It is the scary and rough times that test us and we can use those opportunities to test ourselves and will ourselves while in the challenging moments/times to keep going, to do better than last time and to make the moment count.

A brave heart grows from challenging ourself. Courage comes with a growth in confidence. And a growth in self-confidence can only come from testing ourself or from challenges.
°
Keep the inner-voice positive and the heart willing and focused on your desire for a successful conclusion to challenges.
°
Be what you believe you can be by acting as you should be to be that person.

Life is about having a go.

 

If we don’t try then nothing that we want to happen will happen. The mind is capable of changing fears into successes. That is a fact.

The mind and a good attitude are capable of changing negative feelings into positive feelings. We are often mentally stronger than we think. We are often more courageous than we think.

A test is the only way to find out what you are capable of. I don’t mean an education test, I mean a genuine life test. The test must have some form of struggles, apprehension, fears, wonders and worries, otherwise it is no test.

Face that Unknown.
Take that risk.
Push some barriers.
Go the extra mile.
Test yourself, keep positive.

And please don’t let others who don’t follow your beliefs and heart-felt feelings talk you out of what is most important for your own well being.

We all have our own path.

I can forgive, but I cannot forget, is only another way of saying, I will not forgive.

Forgiving is good. It is new chance to make friends and start all over again. Forgiving is releasing all the sad and bad feelings about wrongs that someone has done to us, and then filling the heart with new experiences and new thoughts, from the new relationship that grows from two fair honest people who want to make things right and want to start all over again.
