I homeschooled my children years before I believed in God. This was mainly because I felt personally responsible about my children’s education and futures. I remember talking to them about God and saying that, “I don’t know if God exists, so I can’t tell you that God is real or not, that is up to you to decide.” I started homeschooling my children in 1997 and found God in 2003-2004. The reason my ex-wife and I started homeschooling our children was that we also had doubts about the education system, and we did note a large amount of feminism creeping into the educational system, and we didn’t like what was being taught in some cases.
About abortion. I have very serious doubts what the medical profession and scientists claim about the baby not being a baby at conception, they offer no satisfactory proof that there is no spirit in that unborn baby at any stage of its growth. Because I doubt what they say, then as far as I am concerned I am not convinced of their opinions, and if I am not convinced I won’t go with what they say. Their medical and science education means nothing to me because they have a very horrific recent 50-60 history of mistakes that have killed millions of innocent people, and driven people crazy, because they reasoned that they were right.
If I doubt someone or something that doubt stays until proven otherwise. What other people think of my stance is unimportant and will not sway me because I know that we have a world of followers and not thinkers, and if what they say is not convincing “to me”, then it is obviously not good enough to believe in.
If people tell me not to do something because…, but I have doubts about what they say, and it just does not feel right to follow what they say, I refuse to be pushed into a situation or to do something that I am not convinced that I should be doing.
Having faith in God and in yourself will greatly help your life, build your confidence, and you will grow in courage.
Please, don’t let people with titles/education/power/wealth sway your thinking just because they have an education or title etc, because knowledge without wisdom is very dangerous and these titled people can lead you to much misery. Trust your instincts, trust God, and stand strong with whatever you believe in.
Education is only worth what you are being educated about. If the education (teaching) on a subject is wrong then it is dangerous – and to knwo the difference beteween good eduucationa dn bad education we need to teach people and our young to think for themselves. Learning to investigate, think, may give us answers that are not supported by science and education, and that is fine, because they are not right all the time.
Please trust yourself, you will never regret it.
Trust Christ:
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
All the best from
