One of the mistakes I made earlier in my life was accepting my life as it was…

One of the mistakes I made earlier in my life was accepting my life, accepting my character and accepting what life had made of me. What I have discovered is that we all change, we all progress, we all go from one stage of learning to another, and we all reap the rewards of our character and deeds in due season. If we are always constantly changing then it is clear that we will never find ourself because at no one time will we stay as we were.

The most important thing is to discover what side of the fence we want to be one, the honest side or the dishonest side, the honest side has good in it and will produce good results in due season. Get the idea!

Trying to accept other people’s version of who we are is very bad for us, and trying to be what everyone wants of us is very bad. Soul Searching can be about looking back to the past, say when you were about 8 years old, looking at what you wanted to see in your future, int e world, how you wanted to be treated, and then making all those things come true within you now. I mean, if you wanted to treat people fairly, then become that, treat other people fairly.

All the best from James Martin Sandbrook.
