With badly behaving children we need to be very careful with our behaviour as well as trying to find a way to get through to the misbehaving child. It is very hard to have self control when a child is hurling abuse at you, but we must try to show our love and try to understand that the child does not understand life and the situation. I am mentioning constant bad behaviour from a child here.
I always try to remind myself that I am the adult, therefore I have the most life experience and wisdom, and maturity to help the child see the light and want positive change, so that we all get along as a healthy family unit.
It is always wise to think back to how we were as a child and try to see the situation as the child does, and ask ourself what we can do to help the child see the point that we are trying to help the child understand.
