A parent must treat each person in his or her heart as an individual.
The parent must try to make a separate picture in his or her mind of that child, as that child grows up. The parent must deal with each separate child as an individual, in such a manner so that the child knows that he or she is respected for his or her being a member of the family as he or she is, and loved for who they are and not compared with the other children.
