US-2×2

You plug the unit into you USB Port via the cable that comes with the unit and the computer powers the Tascam US-2×2.
You can then plug in a guitar, microphone at front, and even MIDI via sockets at the back of the unit, and play them together.

There are 2 Line-Out sockets at the back.

Although this is a professional and quality piece of gear it has not lived up to mine or many other people’s expectations.

The main issue is the Driver not working out. In one case a man got the latest Driver (like me) and the unit refused to work, same with many others who commented on the web site.
But he fixed it by going back to an old Driver and it worked fine.
Our issues were with Windows 10, so these issues may not work with Apple Computers and others Operating Systems.

When  got this until I was unable to get it to work well, and now after the Driver issues it refuses to work at all.
I am sure that if I stuck with it and persisted I may find the answer, but having used up a lot of time on this now discontinued unit I will find another product that is more useful and works without issues.

You may have a better run with this, but my recommendation is that if the latest Drivers shut it down it is preferably better to get another unit that works because the company is not even trying to make it work, otherwise with all the complaints they would fix this issue.
