Stand Your Ground!

Sometimes we get tired and confused with God’s plan for our life.
We know that the plan is good and that it will be better than the past. But sometimes we just feel so tired of it all.

It is at these times when we feel like giving up that we must hang on and try to keep to the good and honest path. We shouldn’t weaken and go to worldly places that show off the flesh, or places where we could be taken advantage of.

As Children of God we need to be careful and respect ourselves enough to want the best for ourselves.

Matthew Chapter 5, verse 9: Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Matthew Chapter 19, verse 14:
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Mark Chapter 9, verse 37: Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

The lost, not knowing what they do, try to guide us to places we shouldn’t go to. And they try to make us accept what we shouldn’t accept.

Follow Jesus. Do what is right. Say no. Be assertive. Get your feelings across and do so strongly and be firm about it.

People respect us when we are firm and we let them know what we believe, and how we feel, and how we expect to be treated.

Being pushed around simply means that you will never be happy.

Meek is good but one must be spirituality strong and determined to do what is right. Stand your ground.

Be like the child at heart. Have your limits. You were made to be courageous, be so, and don’t let yourself down.

All the best from James M Sandbrook.
