The Bible is an ancient text with so much common sense and logic in it. There is much that can bring so much love and harmony into your existence and to eternal life. There is much to learn, much to come to know.

When you read words like this: ‘Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. ‘ from Psalms 27, verse 14, you are reading words of truth from the one and only real true and total loving Father God. This is not just a simple verse. There are many people out there that can recite the verses of the Bible, tell you stories of the Bible but if their reading of the Bible carries no love and no genuine belief, then what worth is it, for God is Love.
1 John Chapter 4, verse 8: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Treat the words of advice as real. Listen to the sermons, believe your guidance, follow your belief. Treat the Holy Words as a personal message to you, a personal message to your heart. Some words may seem harsh and go against your pride – but if they do, then they burn at your pride due to you having too much pride and refusing to be corrected. Just how many times can God teach us the Truth before we decide to finally put aside our past sins and move forward to follow God in the new ways, the narrow path, into God’s acceptance.

Genesis Chapter 19, verse 26: But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
When she had heard the Truth, saw the bad going on, she still looked back wanting the past that she had just left and paid for that. She is the one who hurt herself, nobody is to blame but herself, when we look back we are turning our back on God, the only one who could protect us, guide us and help us, and choose to go back to the old life of evil thoughts and lustful ways, even after God has shown us the way away from those things to a better way.
We must learn to “know” the words of warning that the Bible has for us as the Truth and we need to love the words of comfort for us as from our loving Father. A study of Jesus would be a great help for new believers. Our belief should be deep, total and we need to stay with the Truth of God and not want to go back after hearing the Word of God.
Always remember that God will not help you do bad things to yourself or to other people. God will help you do good things and will reward you lovingly. If we know God’s Truth and we want to do bad things even after reading in the Bible not to do them especially in books such as Proverbs then we shouldn’t be surprised at the hell that will develop in our lives – we would be wanting to turn our back on God’s Laws. Laws written for our peace and security.
