We are all Spirits born into a Physical Body.
From birth that body (your vehicle on Earth) talked about, and in many cases, especially with females, that vehicle is admired, praised, and as time goes by all this praise is collected in the Human Soul as “evidence” that the body of a person is very very important and must be up kept with pretty things or masculinity so that the admiration the person got as a child will continue throughout their lifetime.
In other words Vanity becomes a Ego Fix, an addiction to be supplied at whatever case, to keep the person feeling secure, worthy, needed and loved.
In reality the human body is merely a vehicle with which to travel Earth.
One way to combat this is to learn how to reject compliments of a certain sort. For instance when you make something and someone says that you have done a great job of it then accept the first compliment and reject any more form the same person or a group because that is how people are manipulated. Instead say, “Thank you!” and do something else or talk about something else, don’t make yourself a need insecure victim that thinks that praise is a sign of your worthiness as a human being.
If anyone says something about your:
• Body.
• Looks.
• Hair.
• Makeup.
• Skin.
• Weight and so on…
then you are being taught to value your looks rather than your entire worth.
The secret is to refuse any form of compliments about your face, looks and body. Cut off excessive compliments, change the subject or if they won’t listen walk out.
Its kind of like the Grey Rock method where you pretend to be boring. Just refuse to accept compliments about your physical body and people will get used to it and realise that you do not like that kind of talk or excessive compliments.
If you are used to being complimented then it will take some time to refuse compliments. But it is worth it, then you will find that you will top seeking compliments from people, and people will not be able to control you by offering compliments so that you will like them. You can still be physically fit and so on, just don’t allow your body to be a way that you seek ego boosts for your self worth and that people can’t use compliments as a way to control you. Just remind yourself, that your body is just a vehicle to travel a physical world in, thats all.
