Two Narcissist Tricks They use.

There are two women in my life right now trying narcissist techniques on me. Both find it frustrating that I don’t bite the bait.

One trick is to ignore me.
My father, mother and females I have had relationships with have done this to me. I say something and they carry on talking as if I did or said nothing, or they carry on doing what they are doing and act as if they didn’t hear me, or they heard me but must do something else first before they reply.

Another one was a woman would talk to me then she would pick up her book and start reading it while I was talking to her. The idea was to show me that I was not important and for me to get her affection I must suck up to her.

These tactics are big power trips to the narcissist in your life. Watch out too, cause both your parents could be narcissists.

Insecure people are desperate to be acknowledged, they fear being ignored, so they desperately and eagerly stay to get attention. I used to do that too. These days I walk away.

As soon as it happens I just say that I have to go, and I go. I leave the narcissist knowing that this tactic will get nowhere with me.

It is like the push-pull effect. The more they ignore insecure gullible people, the more that the gullible insecure will try to be in their favor, even if it shames them.

With confidence we realize, “we don’t beg” anymore.

Check out all your friendships and relationships. See if it is you that is allowing people to do this to you. Be brave walk away. But be prepared from an onslaught and they may freak at you showing courage and self confidence.

You gaining confidence and courage means that the narcissist is losing control of you and that sets them panicking.

Some give up to them, but not you, so stand your ground, refuse to be beg.
