When you come to look at your past one day, and then look at yourself in the mirror and in surprise ask yourself,
“Why am I like this?” or “Why did I do those things in the past?”
The reason is because modern society at this time is lost. In other words there is no-one on this earth who has the right to condemn you, put you down or judge you.
○
Why?
○
Because we are all guilty of some things, and yet because society tricked us we are innocent.
○
With that understanding can we start to be healed.
You are innocent because a lost non-godly society (that means a society that has low moral standards, less honesty, much selfishness) formed your mind. Consider a non-godly society, and consider a peaceful society of good moral standards, protection of children, and humble people etc. The difference is like fire and water.
Your society may have included a culture and that in itself means many pagan rules and regulations that those of that culture must abide by, thereby robbing you of some of your freedom to live and express yourself as you feel to do.
Anyone brought up by dishonest, confused, selfish, people will have some of those traits in their own character by the time that they become an adult. People in a lost society accept many things that they shouldn’t accept, and anyone brought up by such people will tend to accept many of the things that the lost society accepts. Have you noticed that people of a particular tribe/culture have the same habits, ways of living, beliefs etc? It is because they had the culture drummed into their innocent minds since being a child.

Christ is our wonderful example of a gentleman, a humble servant, sacrificial love, and all things good that we need to see in people for a good society to live in peaceful harmony.
If you were taught in a secular school then you were not taught how to live as Christ would have taught you. If your parents were not religious or had confusing religious beliefs that Christ would never have taught then you would have either rejected God or became like them.
The point that I am getting at is that all those crazy stupid things that you and I did growing up was not your or my fault. It was because of false teachings to conform to a lost society and its lost beliefs. We can only do the best that we can, and if we are told that doing something bad is doing something good then we tend to follow that advice and live by it.
So please don’t be so hard on yourself because of the past and the silly things that you did. You were caught up in a world that doesn’t know how to love one another. You cannot be expected as a child, or as an adult to figure all this out. Many go through their whole entire lives never figuring out that they could have lived a far better life than what they did live, and that they could have been so much happier in an innocent fun loving way.

Please take this moment to consider your life, your past and know that your were innocent of all those wrong doings. Apologize, get right with those that you have wronged, repent of all the bad things and bad habits that you had and become new under the loving caring guidance of Christ who loves you very much, and who cares for your life and future.
Knowing this about myself makes it far easier to forgive myself for the foolish parts of my past.
Knowing this about those who have hurt and wronged me makes it easy for me to accept the sorrow, love and apologies of those who have repented and want to make things right. I can easily forgive them because of what I did to others. I have no right to judge them in any way or sense.

Please try to understand your past for what it truly was, and please try to understand other people who apologize to you.
Please be true to you, and your future.
God Bless you!
All the best from
James M Sandbrook.
