Known as "Soft Rockers" Bread and David Gates are very well known worldwide.

Bread is one of those groups that create music that can range from romantic to a more rockier sound.

This is easily noticeable in the songs Everything I Own where the singer states that he would "give everything he owns to have her back again" and The Guitar Man which has a more upbeat Rock 'n Roll  sound.

Many young people these days are enjoying the music of groups like Bread, Brian Wilson, The Beach Boys, The Carpenters, Nilsson etc.

Bread, like many other rock groups of that era, created music that could easily be called timeless.

The songs themselves are great, the wonderful sound of David Gates, is clearly noticeable all through the CD.

This is good music for a romantic evening with your special one.

You will find many soft, sensitive songs that seem to flow in the background while you have other things on your mind, like a romantic dinner for two.

Bread has been in the music business for many years, throwing out many great songs to an eager audience.

The song writers of the group had been writing songs for many other singers before they decided it was time they sung their own songs.

The album Baby, I'm - a Want You was a great success. Five top five singles were an example of just how popular this soft rock group was when the album was released.

And to add to this the song Diary was a top twenty hit.
