Doppelgänger: A doppelgänger is a biologically unrelated look-alike, or a double, of a living person. In fiction and mythology, a doppelgänger is often portrayed as a ghostly or paranormal phenomenon and usually seen as a harbinger of bad luck. Other traditions and stories equate a doppelgänger with an evil twin. - Wikipedia.
There are only so many faces to go around and with so many billions of people living
on the planet there are going to be some who look a lot like you, or even as the
images below show nearly the same as you.
Many movies have used close lookalike's as part of the story to confuse the viewers and to make the story interesting.
A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens is one such book/movie.
Many horror movies
have been made with doppelgänger's as part of the story.
Also doppelgängers can be used in a Character Assassination where the people trying
to ruin the reputation of an innocent person can get someone who looks like the innocent
person and use that person for photographs and video’s with the well-paid doppelgänger
acting out bad video’s or photos pretending to be the innocent person. It is nearly
the perfect crime.
Basically a doppelgänger is a very close lookalike that people will mistake that
person for their “twin” physical lookalike.
