Drywall
Drywall is plasterboard. Years ago experts would come into a home and plaster the whole wall. Today you can buy plasterboard as one piece, put it in and then work with it. Plasterers come in and patch up all the holes, cracks, joins etc and then it is read for painting.
There are different types of drywall, from cheap and thin to thicker which blocks out sound more and would keep a room such as a master bedroom warmer.
If you have drywall, fixed a hole in plasterboard (drywall) and it is pitted. Just wet a sponge, squeeze out most of the water and gently rub the patch in circles, up and down, until the surface softens and fills the holes. Please don’t over do it. Practice on another piece of unimportant drywall if you can.
Perfect Repair on HORRIBLE Corner Bead Detail!!!
Here is a good example of fixing a damaged corner or edge in the home. Had the problem
myself, but what I did was add panels and that solved the problem. Using mud you
can do the same thing, and as you can see here Ben does an excellent job of it.
