When God Created Woman...

When God created woman, an angel came and asked, "Lord God, why does it take so long time to create a woman?"

God replied, "Ah you would know if you see every detail that I put into the creation called a woman? Look at the two hands that can help many children at the same time, give a hug that can heal the pain and sorrows, and all of that with just two hands. Arms so soft and tender, yet so strong with love and caring. They must be so for they have much to do."

"As a wife these two hands and arms are told hold her man. There will be times when he is confused, lost in thought, and cries and she will dry his tears in an understanding way. When he needs a massage she will be there, as he is to her unconditionally. Yes a woman's arms, legs and body are a strong feature in any family, and they have been made to be." said a content God.

The angel answered and said "Amazing!"

God replied, "Even she can heal herself and can work day and night."

The angel observed the woman and asked, "Lord God, she has lots to do and will surely be judged well for her sacrifices when her life on Earth is done!"

God replied, "I hold women deep in my heart, for without their leadership and love where is the family to go, they are lost without her. Her place is with those she loves. For when she is young and mature enough she must leave the parents home and step forward into the waiting arms of her grateful man, her husband. The one I chose for her. The one that she knows she needs be with. I place this feeling deep in her heart the first time that she saw him, he too feels it"

"What for?", asked the angel.

The Lord God said, "So that she would know who he is, and that he is, who she is to be with forever."

The the Lord God and the angel looked fondly on the creation of woman and new that much depended on her unselfishness, her kindness, her generosity, and mostly her deep seated love that flows to those that are hers.

The angels said, "There is nothing more that a man could want!"

The Lord God smiles and said, "Well there is one more thing that a man could want, and that is children born with the gentle blending of their two hearts in a spiritual mist entwined in real love. Children are the reminder of them together and the love that made them all. I proudly give them my children to love and teach in my ways because this is good. Man and wife are good, and love is good. I am them, and they are me."

"But Lord God, what's if they don't want a husband or a wife, or children?"

The Lord God sighed in a gentle sad way and said quietly, "If that is their choice then that must be so. If they have never felt such as true love then they will never know. But I offer it just the same because I love them all and I want them all to have this the most precious gift so I give him her, and I give her him, - and I give them both children to love and guide as I guide and love them."
