like the CR2032 etc.
For a CR2032 the “20” in the name of the battery means that the battery is 20 mm in diameter.
The last part of the name is 32, and that means that it is 3.2mm thick.
If you have a battery that has the same voltage but different last numbers then they are not the same thickness and one cannot be used to replace the other. Its best to get one of the same type.
I have been told by a few people that these coin type batteries and any batteries that go in calculators, watches etc should not be handled with one’s hands because it affects the charge and puts hand oil on the battery etc.
How true this is I don’t know, I have handled many before I was first told this and they worked fine.
