A natural way to calm yourself.

Oxygen is a natural way to calm yourself. That is why it is important in childbirth.

Some suggestions for opening the lungs when sick or a smoker, and for calming the soul:

◘ Sit in a chair, with your back straight and your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.

Breathe in your nose deeply until it is nearly uncomfortable, and then exhale out your mouth in a long regular comfortable way.

When you breath fill your lungs and this practice will open the pores of your lungs, especially those clogged from smoking, colds etc.

By doing this for about 5 minutes a day you will expand your lungs and keep the pores for breathing open.

Many people who lack exercise or smoke drugs and cigarettes have lungs that don't open wide or are clogged and therefore cannot get enough oxygen and this leads to hyperventilation, shortness of breath and early anxiety as the body panics for wanting more regular oxygen etc.

◘ Walk for 6 to 8 paces (what is comfortable for you) and while doing so intake a long slow inhaling of oxygen. Then exhale for 6 to 8 paces out your mouth.

Many claim, as I do, that this can relax a person for a long-time, some say all day, some say half a day, but whatever it really does help. For instance if you are going for a job interview a 10 minute walk like this (before the interview or on the way to the interview) breathing carefully inhaling and exhaling will help keep you calm for your interview.

Keep this up and you will find it a wonderful helpful calming exercise.

If you get to 8 paces and do it with speed it is very healthy for you as well.

All the best from
