During your life there will be times where things happen that you are not happy about, like spilling your glass of milk or some other drink, or breaking something etc. This can upset a person, it can make the person jump up and down and lose the plot for a while.
The mature and positive thing to do is to not let it get you down, and instead realize
that once something is done there is nothing that you can do about it, its over and
done.
How it now affects your life is how you react to what happened, how you get
back up on your feet and deal with what you can deal with.
Please don’t waste your valuable time worrying about things of that past that cannot be changed.
If you feel that you are going to get upset, yet there is nothing that you can do
about the situation, then please realise that getting upset changes nothing for the
better and will possibly make things much worse.
Let it go, move on, and if you have
to adapt to the new situation please do so, and change what you can change.
When something bad happens in your life that is out of your control the most important thing is how you walk away from the situation, a mess, or in control, capable and dealing with the situation in a mature manner.
Adapt to what you cannot control and deal with what you can control.
